Bringing over eleven years of experience in the investment business, John Clagett joined the team at Cascade Financial Management, Inc. in 2002. John's clients are individuals, business owners, and corporations. He specializes in guiding his clients to establish and achieve their long-term financial goals through customized strategies and personalized service. This partnership approach allows him to gain a detailed understanding of their financial needs and objectives, and to provide the best recommendations to meet their individual needs. John and Cascade Financial differentiate themselves from the big brokerage houses by providing proactive, highly customized and integrated strategies that comprise themselves of a team including John Clagett, professional money managers, client accountants, and client estate planning attorney; all working together for the good of the client.

Since he began working in the financial investment field in 1993, John has gained many accolades and recognition awards from Piper Jaffray and R.W. Baird, Inc. Yet, better than any award plaque is a happy and satisfied client. Determined to bring more value to his clients beyond the typical broker/client relationship, John decided to join Cascade Financial Management, Inc. because this firm offered the independence and visionary thinking needed in today's and tomorrow's market. Since then, he has become an integral member of the Cascade team, bringing this high-level of customized wealth management to Northern Colorado.

Devoted to actively supporting his community, John participates in various charitable groups including the Poudre Valley Hospital Foundation and the Avalanche Giving Club Annual Support Committee. John is also involved in the community working with organizations such as Salud Health Centers Children's Clinic, Foothills Gateway Foundation and Partners of Larimer County. He serves on the Foothills Gateway Foundation board and the Nedrah Acres Greenbelt Association board in addition to other volunteer organizations including SERTOMA and Tavelli Elementary Student Council Advisor. John enjoys participating in these groups, because it allows him to stay active and give back to his community. John grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from Emory University, and has lived in Atlanta, Columbus, and Kansas City prior to his move Fort Collins. He enjoys skiing, golfing and mountain biking and spending time with his family; Kris, his wife and their three daughters, Allison, Katie and Carly.
