Dan Scott
Dan has lived virtually his entire life in Springfield Missouri and very much enjoys working with clients who share his same Midwestern values. Dan began his career in 1984 and joined Cascade in January, 2005. "My relationship with Cascade has had such a positive effect for my clients. At Cascade, I am encouraged and have the freedom to bring the best possible solutions available, whatever they may be, to help clients achieve their goals. The mission statement at Cascade is; To provide clear, comprehensive, integrated wealth management advice to help our clients navigate comfortably through an increasingly complex financial marketplace. Those are nice words, and here is now I have learned that they apply. Over the years I have come to specialize in working with small business owners and entrepreneurs. These are smart people. As it turns out, they stay extremely busy doing what they do best: Running their business! They know that the markets and their investments will not go up every day. That's not even the point. What they want is a financial advisor that "gets it." They do not want a stock broker to sell them the hot tip of the week. They want an advisor who will partner with them in achieving their dreams. After I learn what your goals are, we will put a plan in place that will help us meet those goals. I work to coordinate the efforts of my client's CPA, the attorneys, insurance agents, etc. to make sure that we are all on the same page. If needed, I can introduce experts in tax preparation, estate planning, business succession planning, etc. to your situation. Afterwards, I provide follow up and reviews to see that you are comfortable in the progress we are making. I have been told that it is such a relief for a business owner, or anyone for that matter, to know that these issues are being properly attended to. This allows them to focus on their job, families, and other meaningful and rewarding areas of life." Dan enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years and their two sons 21 and 19. They love dining out or enjoy experimenting in preparing meals together at home. They love to travel, especially to regions with wineries! They are both active in their church and Dan is involved in the local Chamber of Commerce. Dan serves on a charitable board, Champions Committed to Kids. Dan enjoys sports of just about any type, but especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He still runs and bikes frequently and keeps his competitive fires burning by playing in tournaments around the country at an "A" level in racquetball. |
